Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is an actor from Canada, British. best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the films Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her most prominent roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. The name Kim Cattrall and the first thing that strikes the mind is her character in the role of Samantha Jones in the popular HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City. The character as Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal event in her career. The actress became a household name and earned international fame through the show. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role was portraying the character La Dolce Vita, a comedy drama. This film, which received two awards, it the Golden Palm Award and an Oscar in the 1960 Cannes Film Festival and also was a huge both in terms of commercial and critical success, was also awarded the Oscar. She was born in Skane, Sweden and did modeling before she started her acting career. She took home in the Miss Sweden competition. When she moved in the US she started acting in several movies, playing small roles. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as the role of a Venusian. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
